[Some campers arrive at Happy Hour or just after work to start their fun weekend.] Dinner is served at 6pm followed by opening ceremonies and the kickoff of COLOR WARS! You’ll have the chance to show your team spirit in Color War activities throughout the weekend, with lots of crazy games, relays and challenges. Friday night’s fun will continue into the wee hours, with a dance party under the night sky.
Saturday is filled with the camp activities, team games and Color War challenges. Get your adventure on! Pick and choose the activities you want to do to make the weekend the best it can be for you. The options begin first thing in the morning, so you can get up early for yoga or a hike, or sleep in a bit before breakfast at 8:30am. From there, Grown Ups Camp is your playground! You can choose from canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, archery, rock climbing, high ropes, waterskiing or crafts. Or you can join in on scheduled games of dodgeball, kickball and volleyball throughout the day. We take a break for lunch around noon and get right back into it again. For safety reasons, the bar isn’t open during the daytime activities, but at 4pm, the bar opens and the Color War Slip ‘N Slide/flip cup challenge begins! The day is filled with color war challenges and opportunities to earn points for your team. We know that no one can take on a day like this without a nap, so get your rest in because the nightlife will be filled with fun, too. Dinner is at 6:30pm, followed by color war challenges, the No-Talent Show, and a campfire: where a live band will provide entertainment while we roast mallows and make S’mores!
Sunday morning, breakfast is served continental style followed by more camp activities, 9-10:30am, just in case you missed something on Saturday. [Just be sure to pack up and move out of your cabin before Brunch at 11.] Brunch includes Mimosas and Bloody Marys, of course! After Brunch the final round of the Corn Hole tournament and the Color War challenges will determine the winner. Closing ceremonies will include trophies, awards and final goodbyes before we head home at 3pm, refreshed and recharged, with lifelong memories of our Grown Ups Camp adventure.
